This is a composite tool list that I have taken from a couple of Local inside agreements. Keep in mind that most agreements call this a minimum tool list. Please check your Local agreement for your exact list. It should be noted that I have found no agreement that requires members to provide their own power tools, cordless drills, ladders or specialty tools, so do not carry or use these items on a company vehicle or job site without checking it out with your Local Hall first.

Vehicle Use
Here is what our agreement says. I feel it is self explanatory and category one language.

"The Employer shall not require nor shall Employees be permitted the use of a workman's vehicle to transport tools, material or workmen in any manner that would render a service to any employer that could not be rendered by an Employee having no such vehicle."

The same thing from another agreement:

"No workman shall use his automobile in any manner detrimental to the best interest of other workmen. No workmen shall use his automobile to transport the Employer's tools or material."

Of course this does not mean you can not rent or lease your vehicle to the Employer for a fee. This, however, should be ok'd by your Local first. Any such agreement should be in writing.
